How Email2Obsidian Uses Cookies
Email2Obsidian uses cookies and similar technologies like local storage to track activity on our service and hold certain information.
We distinguish between two different types of cookies:
- Essential: Cookies that are strictly necessary for basic website or app functionality.
- Analytics: Cookies that help us understand how our website is used (for example, pages visited and time spent on the site). These may be set by third parties such as Google Analytics.
- Marketing: Cookies that are used to identify users and collect information about their behavior.
Email2Obsidian uses essential cookies and, where you consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics). We do not currently use marketing cookies.
The Cookies We Set
We use cookies provided by ourselves when you are logged in so that we can maintain your logged-in state. This prevents you from having to log in every single time you visit a new page. These cookies are removed or invalidated when you log out to ensure that users can only access certain features when logged in.
In addition, with your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, United States of America (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information and pages visited, so we can understand and improve how our website is used. These cookies are set and controlled by Google.
For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics opt‑out page.
Third Party Cookies
We use third-party payment provided by Stripe to process payments and prevent fraud.
For more information, see the official Stripe Privacy Policy.
